Few Days in...
So far It has been quite difficult to adjust but I am getting there. School has gotten easier because the teachers have slowly realized I am not great at Spanish. Everything here is different. The class stays in one room while teachers move and the school is huge. I can barely find my way around. The American kids have gotten a Study hall so we can all do our homework and talk about what’s going on at home. Celia’s classes are kind of difficult but that could just be for me because I barely understand what is going on. English class is my favorite obviously because I get to speak in English and I understand everything that is being said. I did just learn that classes are separated by their level of English which I thought was kind of funny. I have been doing pretty good on my homework so far. I get what I can done in Study hall and things I might not finish, I finish later on in class since the day is so long. I have been pretty homesick lately but I think It will get better sooner than later. I really miss my mom’s food and obviously my family. I also really miss Mrs. Coyle. She left and I want her to come back. She made this trip fun too.
Everyone makes fun of me for some reason. I wore my Uggs the first few days and people have been making comments on how they are slippers so I stopped wearing them and started wearing other shoes.
